Schiphol is an airport dedicated to comfort and convenience. Almost a
city unto itself, everything is housed under one great roof eliminating
the tedious terminal hopping. It is also a shopping mall including even
a full-service sauna and a licensed nursery for the little ones. Only 9 miles (15 Km) from Amsterdam, the airport houses a railway station in the Central Hall of the terminal. Typically, it is about a 15 minute ride to Amsterdam's Central Station. This is an excellent demarcation point for travelers heading for the United States. |
